If you need an excuse to get on the water!

Our time in the Bahamas is coming to a close and we are preparing to return to Scotland for an action packed Summer of canoeing. We are really looking forward to being back on the beautiful lochs and rivers in the Highlands but there's definitely going to be some things we will miss from the Bahamas. Here are just a few of them.

The nurse sharks and the starfish....

The spectacular sunsets, and they always seem even more beautiful when camping after a day on the water

Oh so many deserted beaches waiting to be explored

The friendly stingrays waiting for the conch leftovers and some attention

                              The easy life....

Picnics on board (thanks to Jo for the lovely cheese and meat all the way from London)

Sailing and kayaking (of course!)

Finding picture perfect islands - and stopping on them for lunch!

The swimming pigs!

Snorkelling and spear fishing (far away from the pigs) and eating the spoils over a camp fire

Camp life!

Thanks to Dallas and Tamara from Out Island Explorers for a great few months in the Bahamas! Looking forward to seeing you in Scotland!
